I never thought of it that way - makes you wonder if Nixon had been brought to trial if Darth Cheney would have done all of this. Maybe he would have been at least a little more hesitant knowing that it was harder to get away with it. Alright, you're right. As much as I want to just move on and forget it, that's what the next generation of them are counting on - getting away with it. It's not like they have consciences that are just eating them up inside. And there is a next generation of them. Lots of them. And worse. And if this generation of them gets away with making billions of dollars from this, the next generation will push it even further. And no, there is no statute of limitations for war crimes. That's why people are still trying to find the Nazis.
